The Man:
Explorer and outdoor expert Brian Brawdy is RVing his way through the 48 contiguous states, offering eco-friendly ideas for enjoying the outdoors responsibly.
The Mission:
Educate kids and adults alike to get outside, get dirty and breathe fresh air. “Some may be surprised to find how eco-friendly RVing is,” says Brawdy. “I’m showing off my Green RV to make this point.” Brawdy also says that he already sees other RVers at local campgrounds doing their part to conserve water and electricity, recycle and buy paper items instead of plastic. “We can all do a little more. And a little from all of us is all it takes,” says Brawdy.
The Machine:
A “green” home-on-wheels. This Green RV uses solar and wind power. It also captures, filters and stores rainwater. This Green RV has everything found in today’s homes: complete kitchen, queen-size bed, full bath and entertainment center. It even has a wall that slides out at the touch of a button to increase the interior space.
