Join the Clubs!

RVers are an independent lot, but many find that joining camping clubs enhances their RVing experiences. Some clubs are primarily social, offering RVers organized activities and entertainment in campgrounds across North America. Others connect people who have the same RV brand or who share a particular interest. Some clubs offer technical support, and others offer discounts on magazines and services.

There's a club for everyone. You can join one or half a dozen!

With club membership comes the opportunity for RVers to participate in a year-round schedule of RV rallies and caravans in varied and exciting locales.

RV Rallies

Fun-filled national and local rallies are a mainstay of most camping clubs. Most will sponsor an area rally at least once a month as well as a national or international rally during the peak vacation season.

Tours are often organized during rallies, allowing interested RVers to visit historical and cultural attractions in an area where a rally takes place. Rallies also offer many social activities, such as cooking and dance contests, theme dinners, crafts, games and sporting events.

RV Caravans and Tour Operators

Some camping clubs and private companies organize RV caravans and tours to Alaska, Canada, Mexico and other destinations. RVers travel together, usually with professional "wagonmasters," who know the area, make arrangements for nightly camping, and find mechanical help or spare parts in a pinch. Some caravans travel for a month or more, providing the trip of a lifetime.
