Go RVing TV Spots Now Available to Industry For Local Use
RESTON, Va-- Go RVing’s four “Ambassadors of Affordability” television commercials have been made into spots ready for dealers, campgrounds and show promoters to tag with their own information and run on local television.
The “Ambassadors of Affordability” are animated animal characters in Go RVing’s print, Internet and TV campaign that tout the message, “Go Affordably. Go RVing.” By purchasing the new taggable spots, industry members can target their local market area with their company information during the final five seconds.
For $250, industry members can order the customizable spots through the Industry-Only section of GoRVing.com. They will be sent both a DVD for easy viewing and a BETA tape for the highest production quality. Companies already registered for the industry tie-in program can preview the spots in the industry-only area of GoRVIng.com. Select the “Toolbox” heading and click on “Go RVing Ads for Industry to Tag.”.
“The Go RVing TV spots are so catchy and recognizable that dealers and others in the industry who run the ads will surely get noticed in their local market,” said Go RVing Co-Chair, Tom Stinnett, President of Tom Stinnett RV Freedom Center. “I highly recommend that all dealers take advantage of these spots to bring the national campaign to their local level.”
The industry can tie-in further with the national campaign by displaying the “Ambassadors of Affordability” at their next RV show, in their store or on their showroom floor. These animal characters are now available for download by Go RVing tie-in program participants in the industry-only area of GoRVing.com. (Select “Toolbox” then “Ambassadors of Affordability Artwork.”) A local sign shop can output the files as freestanding floor signs or incorporate them in other marketing materials. The five most visible ambassadors – the bison, bear, rabbit, fox and owl – have been made available. Other animals are also available for a small charge.
Industry members interested in creating their own television spots or other marketing materials can take advantage of the Go RVing B-roll stock footage available for $150 in the industry-only section of GoRVing.com. During the summer of 2009, Go RVing produced new “Nuts and Bolts” consumer video featuring lightweight, fuel-efficient and “green” RVs. In addition to camping lifestyle footage, it also features driving footage of motorhomes and towables on country roads and in campgrounds. RV dealers and their agencies can access all these promotional tools, the Leads-Plus program and more by signing up for the 2011 Go RVing Dealer Program for $225. In addition to providing the ability to order the Go RVing TV spots and B-roll stock footage, access to the industry-only section provides access to consumer leads, an image library, and a custom ad builder. To sign up, visit www.rvda.org or send an email to info@rvda.org.
Campground operators, show promoters and others interested in participating in the tie-in program should contact RVIA’s Advertising Manager, Margie Spence at (703) 620-6003, ext 357 or mspence@rvia.org.
