Consumer Resources

With over 30 million RV enthusiasts in the U.S., there are countless resources for you to get information that will point you in the right direction for getting started on your way to becoming an adventurous RVer. And, there are resources for you to turn to for tips and advice once you become an RV owner.

From monthly Camping and RV Media  to national RV Buyer's Guides to seminars and hands-on shopping at RV Shows nationwide, if you have a hunger for knowledge about RVing, there are plenty of opportunities to satisfy your craving. If you want to compare or share experiences with fellow RVers, perhaps membership in an RV club is the perfect social outlet for you. Check out the list of national RV clubs under the Hit the Road! tab, and click on Join the Clubs. Many clubs also publish newsletters or magazines to keep members informed and in touch.

If you’re new to RVing you’ll soon learn that RV enthusiasts are one of the friendliest and most sociable groups of people you’ll ever come to know.  RV parks and campgrounds have often been referred to as “the last small towns in America” because of the warm camaraderie amongst virtual strangers. Expect the friendly wave, the knock on your door, the offer to come and join their campfire – there are no strangers amongst RVers – only friends you’ve yet to meet. You’ll soon discover some of the best tips and advice come from those you’ll meet along the way who have been enjoying their life on the road and are eager to share their adventures.
