Ingredients
- Potatoes
- Onion
- Mushrooms
- Ham
- Butter
- Corn
- Seasonings (salt and pepper)

Directions
Cook peeled potatoes in large pot. Just before completely cooked, add sliced onion. Drain off most of the water. Add bite-sized pieces of ham, mushrooms, corn - fresh if available or any other vegetable your family likes. Cook until heated through. Add butter and seasonings and serve.

Notes
My kids called this Depression Food and the name stuck. I called it a one-pot meal. We also cook this over a campfire whenever possible.
